In the fall of 1993, a group of Toronto ultimate players travelled to a tournament in Buffalo and competed as an open team.
In the spring of 1994, a number of these players and others decided to form an ongoing competitive open touring team. Big Aerial Dynamite (B.A.D.) was formed.
B.A.D. participated in 7 tournaments in each of 1994 and 1995 culminating in its entry at the Canadian Ultimate Championships in Calgary in 1995. B.A.D. went 8-1 at Calgary and finished 9th in its first Nationals appearance.
B.A.D. continued in 1996 including competing in the team's second Nationals held in Toronto.
